Welcome to Hillary's Chicago Pizza

We have two types of pizza in Chicago. We have a thin and crispy style, which we cut in squares that is referred to tavern style. This style was offered at the bar in taverns as a way to get customers to buy more beer. Although not free anymore, it is still very common in Chicago at local pizzerias and local taverns. Everyone has their favorite neighborhood place!


Chicago is also famous for it's deep dish pizza, which was invented by a chef in a local Chicago pizzeria around 1943. As a Chicagoan, you are not eating this every week, it is more of a special occasion treat, but we do still eat it and love it!


If it is your first time having Chicago deep dish, please be prepared to wait. We are making everything from scratch, in house. Our pizzas are deep, rolled out by hand and have a lot of ingredients and a full pie takes at least 45 minutes to cook the ingredients, sometimes longer. If we are busy, wait times for pizza can be as long as an hour and a half. A Chicago trick is to preorder before you arrive. A lot of people who love our pizza don't mind waiting either. We hope this helps and we can't wait to serve you!

I got the "personal" Chicago deep dish pizza and it was delicious, I loved it!Very flavorful, from the crisp crust, the sauce had a kick, and the cheese was generous. I'd definitely grab carryout again.

We're Hillary and Bruce, and we're so glad you found us. As proud Chicagoans who now call Florida home, we're thrilled to share our passion for authentic Chicago-style pizza with you.

At Hillary's Chicago Pizza we are a local, friendly, and small restaurant serving up authentic Chicago pizza in St. Augustine. We specialize in classic Chicago deep dish, crispy, thin-crust squares and other Chicago favorites, all made with love. Kick back in our cozy space with a craft beer from our ever changing selections, enjoy a taste of our Chicago heritage, and cheer on your favorite Chicago teams. We are more than a pizzeria; we're a neighborhood hangout where friends gather and good times roll.

Food Truck POP UP at HOrnskis Brewing on Anastasia Island. Hornski's: "We brew a little bit of everything, from crisp lagers to juicy IPAs, and round out the taplist with guest craft brews, hard cider on tap, a curated wine list, seltzers, kombucha, classic domestics, and non-alcoholic options. With vinyl spinning all day, a free-to-play arcade, rotating food trucks, and an eclectic vintage aesthetic, we’re family friendly until 9PM and always pet-free (service animals welcome).

My background in social work and special education shaped the heart behind everything I do. I believe food can create community, inclusion, opportunity, and joy.
